HIGHLIGHTS FROM the FYM 2024 Steps To Freedom 5K
EVENT DETAILS AND REGISTRATION

The Steps to Freedom 5K is an untimed, non-competitive event with the focus on gathering pledges or making a personal donation and walking to help fund FYM programs for juvenile offenders and their families.
Registration is $15 per family or individual and includes a Steps to Freedom T-Shirt if registration is received at least 10 days prior to event. Additional t-shirts may be purchased for $15 up to 10 days prior to the event. After you finish walking, we ask you to fill out a notecard with a message or verse of encouragement to the kids in detention.
For every $100 raised or donated a ticket will be awarded for the drawings for $25 gift cards. You must be present to win gift cards. There is a limit of one $25 gift card per person.
Same day registration and check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., the run/walk begins at 9:00 a.m., and gift cards and silent auction items will be awarded at 10:30 a.m. at the pavilion.
After you finish walking, please write a message of encouragement to a child in detention on a Steps To Freedom 5K notecard. Notecards will be given out to the detained kids. MORE INFORMATION

Fill Out A Notecard "i walked 5K for you"
By participating in the Steps To Freedom 5K, you are helping FYM continue to take the message of God's love and salvation through Jesus Christ to the youth in detention.
We ask you to sign a notecard and write a message or verse of encouragement to share that love with the kids in detention. They need to know that God and His children loves them.
By participating in the Steps to Freedom 5K, you are helping to put Bibles in the hands of the teens in the detention center.
